Welcome to
Johnson County Tobacco Prevention
Program Basics: The Tobacco Free Wyoming Communities grant is
sponsored by the Wyoming Department of Health.
The grant is funded by the State of
Wyoming Tobacco Settlement Trust Funds and funds from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Community Resource Center of Johnson County is
the fiscal agent of the grant. Rosemarie
Davidson is a certified tobacco treatment
specialist and coordinator of tobacco prevention
in Johnson County.
Mission:
Johnson County Tobacco Prevention is committed
to educating the community of the harmful
effects of tobacco, for users and non-users, in
order to promote healthy environments or all
citizens.

Goals
Johnson County Tobacco Prevention Program grant focuses on
four goals:
1)
Secondhand Smoke: Eliminate exposure to
secondhand smoke
2)
Initiation of Tobacco: Reduce rates for youth
who start using tobacco
3)
Cessation: Promote quit tobacco services for
all tobacco users
4)
Disparities: Reduce tobacco use among low
income & low educated populations |
